How SGPA is Calculated

The SGPA is the ratio of the sum of the product of the number of credits with the grade points scored in all courses, to the sum of the number of credits of all courses in the semester.

SGPA = Σ(Ci × Gi) / ΣCi

Where Ci is the number of credits of the ith course and Gi is the grade point scored in that course.

What is a "Good" SGPA?

Generally, an SGPA above 8.0 is considered very good and keeps you eligible for most campus placements. Anything above 9.0 is excellent.
