The Four Phases of Admission
Online Registration & Rank Cards
Candidates register on the BCECE portal using their JEE Main credentials. After registrations close, BCECE compiles the database and publishes the **UGEAC Merit List (Rank Cards)** showing your state UR (Unreserved) and Category Ranks.
Online Choice Filling & Choice Locking
Once the portal opens, you must log in to specify your choices of college and branch. You can rearrange choices up until the locking deadline. **Crucial:** Once locked, choices cannot be changed for subsequent online rounds.
Seat Allotment Rounds
Seat allotment occurs dynamically. If you get a seat, you download your allotment letter, choose between **Freeze** (Accept and admit) and **Auto-Upgradation Yes** (Floating for a better seat), and visit a physical reporting center for verification.
Offline Mop-Up Round (Optional)
If vacant seats exist in colleges after online rounds conclude, BCECE announces a physical **Offline Mop-Up Round** held at their headquarters in Patna. You must submit a fresh willingness response to participate.
